The 1st kind of such MBA in health care management was started by Dr. Babasaheb R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) by collaborating with Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF). Apollo hospitals city campus is the largest healthcare provider in Asia. The eligibility criterion for the students to get into this stream is up to 50% in graduation. Any graduate from Medical or non medial background can get into this field. If you are a SC/ST candidate then you have an added advantage of having 45% in your graduation.
